A complete Questionnaire and Reference package consists of:

  1. The completed questionnaire, with both applicant and parent sections signed, scanned and emailed along with a recent photo of the applicant.
  2. Two reference forms, completed by your references and submitted via email directly to programming from the referee at programming.cisvvancouver@gmail.com References should not be family members and should be able to comment on the applicant in a peer setting. Coaches and teachers are ideal.

*Note:  only 1 reference required if you have applied for and submitted references to a CISV Vancouver Program in the past two programming years.  If submitting only 1 reference, that reference should be a teacher who can comment on the applicant in a peer setting.

*Note:  Proof of age will be validated by a programming committee member

Program Fees:

If your application is accepted, program fees are required. They vary by program and length. A menu of the varying fees can be found here.

Vaccinations:

As of the 2020 programme year, every staff, leader and participant must provide proof of the following vaccinations before attending a CISV International programme – unless they have a documented medical exemption:

– polio,

– DPT (diphtheria-pertussis-tetanus),

– measles, and

– rubella

Proof is at a minimum a correctly filled out and signed Health Form that states the vaccines are current and up-to-date.

Additional travel immunizations specific to certain countries may be required in addition to the routine immunizations.

How are delegates selected?

Delegates are selected by application, reference and local participation review and may be asked to participate in an interview. A draw may be applied to fairly select equally qualified delegates when required.

Review the SELECTION PROCESS document for full information about our process.
