It’s cold out there.  And, despite the pandemic, the Coldest Night Of The Year event is taking place on Feb. 20th and you can still participate with your own bubble.

CISV Canada is doing a National Mosaic Project in partnership with Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY). On Saturday, February 20th, we’re walking in cities across Canada to support our local communities and help those who are hungry, homeless, and hurting.

How can you participate? There’s a number of ways:

1. Join CISV Vancouver’s team of walkers and pledge to walk 2km/5km in your own neighbourhood on Feb 20 to raise awareness about homelessness in Vancouver and across Canada. There is no minimum fundraising you need to be able to walk, but you will get your own fundraising link that you can share amongst your networks if you’d like.

2. Check out CISV Canada’s Challenge page to see how CISV Vancouver stacks up against other chapters. So far 8 other chapters are participating in this national Mosaic project and we hope to represent CISV Vancouver with as many walkers as possible!

3. Donate to CISV Vancouver’s team and help us collect funds for critical services at https://www.facebook.com/CityReachCareSociety a local organization that serves individuals and families in East Van.
